Eljero Elia (Hamburger SV)

The World Cup always brings out new young talents onto the world’s watchful eyes. Along with Christian Eriksen, Eljero Elia is certainly one to watch. Born February 13th, 1987, Eljero is one of the older players on this list, but is not yet famous on the world stage . The tricky winger moved to Hamburger SV in just 2009, but has quickly established himself as one of the more consistent performers in the Bundesliga. With his pace, dribbling and creativity, he became an important player in Hamburg, caught the eye of big clubs in both Serie A and the Premiership as well as received a place in the Dutch national team for the World Cup. He played 6 matches at the 2010 World Cup, coming on as a substitute and mostly covering for Arjen Robben, but has impressed with his skills as well as almost scored a goal.
