Mesut Özil (Real Madrid)
Taking the creative reins of German giants Werder Bremen since the departure of star playmaker Diego to Juventus, Mesut Özil became a great player in the Bundesliga, driving his former team to the German cup final with his eye for goal, amazing vision and creativity. Already experienced on the international level by winning the Under-21 European Championship with Germany, Özil has also played 6 games in the 2010 World Cup, scoring a goal and helping Germany immensely in their run to the semifinals. Özil’s World Cup performances made a lot of top clubs interested in his services, and the attacking midfielder eventually transferred to Real Madrid during the summer of 2010.
