• Descrition: Xherdan Shaqiri has been quietly emerging over the past few years. Has won the 2007 Nike Under-15 Cup and the 2009 Fifa Youth Cup. Received numerous offers from other clubs, but elected to stay at Basel so far to improve his game. Recently Shaqiri won the league and league cup with Basel, shining during both, which earned him a trip to the 2010 World Cup with Switzerland, where he played 1 match, not really having a lot of time to do much.
