Adem Ljajić (Fiorentina)

- Description: Ljajić has been scouted by major clubs since 16 years old, playing impressively for his old club, Serbia’s powerhouse Partizan. He scored a more than respectable 9 goals in just 38 matches for club, while also being one of the youngest players on the pitch. Manchester United, impressed with his performances, signed him in 2009, and a whole transfer saga ensued. United bought the player, with his transfer to occur in January 2010. However problems in obtaining a work permit for him, led to the transfer being rescinded. In January 2010, Ljajić was signed by Fiorentina for a reported €8 million. He made 7 appearances for Fiorentina so far, impressing with his dribbling and great passing ability, which led to more comparisons to Brazilian star Kaká, whose stardom in Serie A Ljajić hopes to emulate. Ljajić has also represented Serbia on every youth level and looks primed to break through to the senior squad in the near future.
