Chelsea offered him a long-term deal thereafter, but the winger wanted regular playing time, which wasn’t guaranteed at Chelsea, so he ended up signing for Turkish giants Fenerbahçe for a € 5.5 million transfer fee. Stoch is also experienced at the national team level, earning 16 caps for Slovakia and scoring one goal, while making an appearance for them in every game (2 starts, 2 substitute appearances) at the 2010 World Cup.
