Here is a look at and projection of the Sevilla side for the 2010-2011 season:
Players In: Mouhamadou Dabo (right back, free transfer), Tiberio Guarente (central midfielder, €5.5m), Luca Cigarini (central midfielder, €250,000 loan), Alexis (centre back, €5 million), Martín Cáceres (centre back, loan)
Players Out: Adriano (left midfielder, €9.5 million), José Ángel Crespo (right back, free transfer), José Manuel Casado (left back, free transfer), Javier Chevantón (striker, free transfer), and those out on loan
Strengths: Strikers, with Luís Fabiano, Álvaro Negredo, Frédéric Kanouté, Arouna Koné and talented youngster Rodri among others, Sevilla have one of the best offensive lines in La Liga. Their centre backs are also great, with Federico Fazio, Julien Escudé, Alexis, Martín Cáceres, Ivica Dragutinović and talented youngster Cala making up the core.
Weaknesses: Sevilla have a lot of players to cover in pretty much every position, however they can use another attacking midfielder, as the team really only has Renato to cover there. Other players can step up, but Sevilla can surely use another natural player in that position.
Projected Place: 3rd
Overall: Sevilla have a good team, and should challenge for a Champions League spot in La Liga.
