Mesut Özil (Real Madrid, €18 million)
- A great pickup by Real Madrid, as Özil should fill the gap left by the injury to Kaká and provide many dangerous plays.
Rafael van der Vaart (Tottenham, £8 million)
- Gives Tottenham another great attacking midfielder alongside Luka Modrić, as well as more creativity in attack.
Diego (Wolfsburg, €15.5 million)
- Certainly makes Wolfsburg a more dangerous attacking team, and should provide more opportunities for star striker Edin Džeko.
Zlatan Ibrahimović (A.C. Milan, loan)
- Gives Milan an extremely dangerous offensive line. Ibrahimović has played well in Italy before, and should continue to be one of the best strikers in the world.
James Milner (Manchester City, £18 million along with Stephen Ireland)
- A great addition to Manchester City, Milner can score goals as well as create them, and certainly makes City a more dangerous team.
Robinho (A.C. Milan, €18 million)
- Along with Pato and Ibrahimović, Robinho gives Milan a very dangerous and creative front line.
Aleksandar Kolarov (Manchester City, £16M)
- Gives Manchester City one of the best attacking left backs in the world.
Mario Balotelli (Manchester City, £24 million)
- Balotelli has a lot of potential, and gives Manchester City’s already dangerous attacking line yet another option.
Javier Mascherano (Barcelona, €21 million)
- Along with Seydou Keita and Sergio Busquets, Mascherano solidifies Barcelona’s defensive midfield.
Ramires (Chelsea, £17 million)
- A great addition to Chelsea’s midfield, as Ramires is a central midfielder who can defend as well as make plays.
