Sergio Canales (Real Madrid)

Sergio Canales (born 16 February 1991) is one of the new sensations in Spanish football.  The attacking midfielder had a breakout season in 2010 starting most of the games for Racing and scoring pivotal goals, including a brace against Sevilla. These performances led to a transfer battle over his signature, with Arsenal and Real Madrid amongst others, going after his services. Real Madrid ended up securing the deal with a payment of  €4.5, with Canales transferring over on July 1st, 2010. With great flair, creativity and finishing ability, he should be a hit with Real Madrid fans for years to come.

Description:
Alan Dzagoev is an attacking midfielder currently playing for CSKA Moscow in the Russian Premier League. He burst onto the scene in 2008 and quickly established himself as a viable attacking option. Combining great passing and dribbling, he has turned the heads of a lot of major clubs, especially after his performance against Manchester United in the Champions League 09 (where he scored a tough goal). Dzagoev could be a major player for Russia during Euro 2012, where his play could be the key for them going deep into the tournament.

Steven Defour

STEVEN DEFOUR (Standard Liège)

Steven Defour (born 15 April 1988) is a Belgian midfielder currently playing for Standard Liege in the Belgium League.  He broke thorough during the 2005 season and since then has achieved great success with the Belgian giants winning 2 league titles. These performances caught the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson( manager of Manchester United), but an injury hindered his transfer. Since that time Defour returned to his normal self, and his amazing passing, stamina,vision on the field, along with an eye for important goals are once again catching the eyes of football’s elites.

Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea)

Compared to Chelsea great Didier Drogba since an early age, Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku had a major breakout year during the 2009-2010 season. Only 16 years old for most of the year, he became the Belgian Pro League’s top scorer with 15 goals. After a total of 33 league goals in 73 appearances for former club Anderlecht, Lukaku signed for Chelsea during the 2011 summer transfer window. Appearances have so far been scarce for the talented striker, but a loan move should see him further develop his immense potential.

Description: Along with fellow Santos star Neymar, Ganso has been attracting a lot of attention over the past few years. Since breaking through in the 2008 Campeonato Paulista, the attacking midfielder has steadily improved his game, making critics call him the new “Kaká” and attracting the attention of major European clubs. He has since won the Campeonato Paulista three straight times, and although stating that he wishes to remain at Santos to play with Neymar, a move to Europe could certainly be on the cards soon.

Every European powerhouse has surely inquired about his services, however he is still contracted to Santos until 2014, and doesn’t appear to be in a rush to leave. Regardless any team the talented striker lands with, should become the favorite to win the top trophies.
